Evolution Furniture
Objective
When San Francisco furniture retailer Evolution Furniture was re-designing their web site, PERSONE was selected to develop and direct the production. We collaborated with another designer who provided us with detailed designs. From there, we determined the best technology for the site given the functional goals.
Approach
We decided that Flash would be the smoothest and most effective way to produce the site. It allowed us a very flexible development environment and output browser-consistent layouts containing various transition animations and data input and submission.
We were excited to interact with the furniture imagery and engage with the retail element of the furniture design industry. It was exciting to translate the breadth and elegance of their furniture collection into an attractive and functional catalog site.
Summary
This effort was an excellent combination of design and production synergy as well as an excercise in producing a site with a large catalog of products. We standardized our elements and combined forces with flash experts to optimize the production flow, resulting in efficient and effective site functionality.
