Information Architecture, iOS App Design

Objective

Working through Regalix Inc. and collaborating with Lumieria, PERSONE was tasked with the information architecture, wireframing and user flows through finished app design comps for VMware's online library of training videos.

Approach

We set out working to establish the user flows and proper information architecture of the app, keeping in mind special usability features such as offline viewing as well as having a specific section for a user's specific videos to list separately as well as the company catalog.

We were excited to interact with the VMware brand and wanted to come through with an outstanding design. So, we worked closely with Lumieria founder and technical director Dave Loomis who helped us with the project, identifying iOS native toolkit elements we could use for the UI and operating standards that would help direct our screen development and layout, user flows and comps.

Summary

This was a successful collaboration with Regalix Inc and Lumieria, and resulted in a highly functional set of practical screens that the VMware engineers used to build their online library of training videos.
